Dom DeLuise, the jovial comic who enlivened such madcap films as Cannonball Run, Blazing Saddles, and Spaceballs, has died. He was 75.
Often working with Burt Reynolds or Mel Brooks, the bearded, roly-poly actor was known for a sharp, distinctive, almost howling laugh that fills the outtakes reel of Cannonball Run — a testament to the joyous time he had with Reynolds.
So sad.
He was a great comedian. He and Burt Reynolds cracked me up in their movies.
I loved Cannonball Run. I haven't seen it in years. I might have to break it out and watch it in his memory.
You mean in His memory? Remember Dom's secret alter ego? :)
Yes. :-)
Loved Dom, He will be greatly missed, he was so funny, along with him Rodney Dangerfield, they both being one of my all time favorites, Rodney I seen In Vegas years ago running around the hotel lobby in his pjs, I just thought thats him all right, lol
